Upper Merion Baseball and Softball Association (UMBSA) is an all volunteer organization that offers recreational youth baseball and softball programs for residents of Upper Merion Township. 

Early discounted registration starts January 5th - January 19, 2025

Registration will close on March 15, 2025

Our regular season runs from April 5, 2025 to June 7, 2025 ending with our traditional Bateman Day.  We will have our league parade on April 26th at 9am Walker Field.

Programs include divisions based on age:
Quickball (co-rec) - ages 3-6
Boys Rookies - ages 7 & 8 Girls Rookies - ages 7 & 8
Boys Minors - ages 9 & 10 Girls Minors - ages 9 & 10
Boys Majors - ages 11-12 Girls Majors - ages 11 & 12
Connie Mack - ages 13 - 16 Girls Seniors - ages 13 - 18

We also off a variety of baseball and softball Summer tournament teams. The in-house rec season is the backbone of our program and we feel that all players should support that program. To be eligible for division playoffs and Summer tournament teams all players must participate in 50% of our Spring rec season.

All volunteer background screenings are now handled at the Babe Ruth National level, NOT the league level. Please see the documents provided here for guidance on how to process your background screenings and coaches conduct forms.
